DEVICE FOR DESTATICIZING PAPER FOR PRINTER

PURPOSE:To improve destaticizing performance and printing quality by arranging a destaticizing brush adjacently to a cleaning brush at a succeeding stage and integrally constituting both of them. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning brush 11 and the destaticizing brush 12 are fixed by a screw 14 and firmly fixed on a guide 13 by a screw 16 as a whole so that the position of the brush is not varied because of vibration, etc. Namely, the destaticizing brush 12 is arranged at the succeeding stage of the cleaning brush 11 and they are integrated to obtain one device. Then, the length of each brush is optionally adjusted and the destaticizing brush 12 is allowed to act near a part where electrostatic charging voltage is maximum. By making a discharge gap large, the abrasion of the brush is prevented, and even when the blurring occurs in a paper 1, the electrostatic charge is surely removed without receiving the effect of the blurring. Thus, the destaticizing performance and the printing quality are improved.
