THERMAL COLOR FORMING COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To easily prepare a thermal sheet improved in flowability hard to generate coating irregularity and imparting high developed color density by adding an oleylimidazoline and/or maleic octadecylmonoamide/diisobutylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal color forming composition is obtained by mixing and dispersing an oleylimidazoline and/or maleic octadecylmonoamide/ diisobutylene copolymer along with a color forming compound, a coupling compound, a high-molecular compound and, if necessary, a filler, a heat-meltable compound and other additives in an org. solvent but the color forming compound and the coupling compound are separately ground and dispersed and mixed in necessary quantities immediately before coating or printing. The oleylimidazoline and/or maleic octadecylmonoamide/diisobutylene copolymer shows action as a dispersant and the use amount thereof is set to 0.05 - 20%, pref., 0.1 - 5% on a wt. basis of a single body or mixture in the thermal color forming composition performing dispersion.
