Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide superior embrittlement characteristic under long-time and high-temp. service conditions as well as excellent heat resistance by casting an Nb-containing Ti-Al alloy and providing a heat cycle in a specific temp. region. CONSTITUTION:An alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight ratio, 28-38% Al, 0.520% Nb, further 0.23-3.5% Si and/or 0.3-5.5% Zr, and the balance essentially Ti is cast. A heat cycle is provided to the resulting cast billet in a temp. region of 600-1350 deg.C, by which structure can be uniformized and residual stress can be reduced. By this method, a Ti-Al-base heat resisting alloy excellent in high-temp. and long-time heating embrittlement resisting characteristic can be obtained. |
