DRY-TYPE STRIPPING DEVICE FOR SPRAYED ASBESTOS

PURPOSE:To completely remove sprayed asbestos by sucking asbestos scrubbed off by a rotary brush by a negative pressure dust-collecting device having the rotary brush, a casing enveloping the rotary brush, and casters for guiding the casing. CONSTITUTION:A rotary wire brush device 10 consists of a casing 20 and a cuff sleeve 25 for connecting a ring brush 30 to the casing 20. When casters 35 are pressed against the wall surface, with the tip of the brush 30 lightly abutted on the wall surface the cuff sleeve 25 is contracted so that a rotary brush 11 reaches the asbestos wall surface, and a sucking space for a negative pressure dust-collecting device is formed between the brush 30 and the wall surface. On the other hand, when an operator turns a switch 16 ON, presses the casters 35 against the wall surface, and advances the device 10, the tip of the brush 11 contacts the asbestos, and scrubbed-off asbestos dust particles are collected from a branch pipe 22 into the negative pressure dust-collecting device. Scattering of the dust particles to the outside can thus be prevented, and the asbestos can be completely removed.
