Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a nonwoven fabric structure with a high collection efficiency of dust and small pressure lose by forming many pores in a base fabric part formed from fiber groups of a thermoplastic resin and further cylindrical protrusions around the pores and integrating the resultant base fabric part with a net. CONSTITUTION:Fiber groups are blown from a melt blow die 10 to a perforated plate 12 provided with many openings (12a) and deposited thereon. In the process, the side opposite to the side of blowing the fibers is kept in a state of a lower pressure than that of the side blowing the fibers with the perforated plate as a boundary. The aforementioned fiber groups are projected from the above-mentioned openings (12a) to raise the protrusions in the form of cylinders and form the protruding parts 2 having the closed tips. The resultant fiber assembly is then peeled from the perforated plate 12 to afford a nonwoven fabric, which is subsequently integrated with a net 3 to provide the objective nonwoven fabric structure.
