Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve luster and light color density by compounding a black pigment comprising carbon black containing an adherent amine compd. with a resin binder. CONSTITUTION:A black pigment containing an adherent amine compd. is obtd. by dispersing carbon black with a particle diameter of 10-100mum and a DBP absorption of 20-350ml/100g in water, adding 10wt.% 4C or lower amine compd. (e.g. 1,4-diaminobutane) thereto and drying after filtering. A varnish wherein 1-10wt.% this black pigment and 30-60wt.% binder resin (e.g. melamine resin) are dissolved in a solvent (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone) and, if necessary, a white pigment (e.g. TiO2) are mixed and dispersed.
