EXCHANGE DEVICE OF PALLET FOR MACHINE TOOL

PURPOSE:To exchange a lot of pallets in a small exclusive area by providing plural pallet installation parts on the circumference to the rotation center on the rotating table of a pallet storage device arranged around a pallet exchange arm. CONSTITUTION:At the pallet exchanging time, the arm 16 of an exchanging arm device 12 performs the vertical motion and turning simultaneously or before and after, stopping at the opposite position of the pallet detaching position P1 of a corresponding pallet storage device 1. After the extension finger 34 of a gripping arm 28 gripping the holder 10 of a pallet 7, the arm 16 stops by drawing the pallet 7 from a pallet installation part 6 with its ascent. The arm 28 is then returned to a transfer position P2 with its shortening and stops at the position corresponding to the delivery position P3 of a pallet exchange part 39 or the delivery position P4 of a pallet arrangement device 42 by the turning and descent motion of the arm 16. The arm 28 is then extended after stoppage, positioned at the upper part of the specific pallet installation part 6 and the pallet 7 is installed to the pallet installation part 6 with the descent of the arm 16.
