Nd series metal or the like. CONSTITUTION:In a cavity 1 for casting constituted of a fixed die 3 and a movable die 4 in a vertical die-cast machine, a placed core 6 is set onto a sleeve 5 arranged in the fixed die 3, on which a formed body 8 constituted of short fiber of Al2O3 or the like is disposed. Next, the molten metal 10 of an Mg alloy constituted in such a manner that the Mg alloy having the compsn. contg., by weight, 2 to 15% Nd or Nd series metal essentially consisting of Nd such as didymium or furthermore contg. one or more kinds among
