TWISTING OF LEADER LINE IN AUTOMATIC COIL WINDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To perform full automation from winding to twisting process of a leader line by repeating processing where a wire rod to be let out from a nozzle is piled on the part of first twisting for performing second twisting. CONSTITUTION:When a hook 20 for twisting is rotated, the first twisting is performed on a wire rod 28 hung about on the hook 20 for twisting between the hook 20 for twisting and a nozzle 26. Next, by moving the nozzle 26 while rotating the hook 20 for twisting, the wire rod 28 being anew let out from the nozzle 26 is piled to be subjected to the second twisting. The nozzle 26 is moved up to a position superseeding the hook 20 for twisting while making it to perform an escape action so as not to closely contact with the hook 20 for twisting and stopped followed by rotation of the hook 20 for twisting about 2 to 3 times to wind a crossover 30 around the twisting part 29. The above operations are repeated until the diameter of the twisting part 29 gets a prescribed value. Thereby, twisting can be automatically performed on the terminal.
