Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject sheetlike material, composed of a synthetic fiber web layer and a cellulosic fiber web layer with respective different single fiber diameters, having different impregnation ratios between the front and the back surfaces and capable of fulfilling plural functions as a base fabric for wet wipers. CONSTITUTION:The objective sheetlike material, composed of (A) a synthetic fiber web layer having 0.5-5mum single fiber diameter and (B) a cellulosic fiber web layer having 3-30mum single fiber diameter, the single fiber of the component (B) passing through the surface of the component (A). The impregnation ratio of the sheetlike material is 3-7 times based on that of the component (A) in impregnation thereof with water.
