IMAGE PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To rapidly execute image processing by providing the image processor with the 1st means for painting-out a prescribed width including one side of a rectangle to be displayed on a screen with black dots and the 2nd means for successively copying the painted-out pattern in the rectangle and painting-out the whole copied areas with black dots. CONSTITUTION:A main control part 301 executes a program 302 to execute data processing and control. The program 302 executes pattern painting-out processing for painting-out the pattern of the prescribed width including one side of the rectangle 210 with black dots by the 1st area painting-out means 310. A frame memory 209 stores pattern data in a storage area corresponding to a part to be displayed on a display screen 303. The 2nd area painting-out means 311 successively copies the pattern painted-out by the 1st means 310 in the rectangle area and then executes the area painting-out processing of the whole areas. Consequently, all the pattern data are stored in the storage area of the memory 209 correspondingly to the part painting-out the whole rectangle 210 on the screen 303 and the rectangle painting-out processing can be accelerated.
