METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DRAWING OUT TORSION SPRING

PURPOSE:To speed up the fitting-in of a torsion spring by inserting a pin into the coil part of the torsion spring at a waiting position, and moving the pin as keeping it rotatable, and bringing a guide member to abut with a leg part so as to rotate the spring by a prescribed angle. CONSTITUTION:When the torsion spring 2 is fed to the drawn-out waiting position, the pin 104 of the tip end of a chuck 106 is inserted into the coil 4. The guide member 116 and the leg 6B are abutted with each other while the spring 2 is moved so that the spring 2 is rotated (D direction) by the prescribed angle, and at the time of the completion of movement, the leg part 6B abuts with the tip end of the horizontal surface part 116b in front of an inclined surface 116a. A stopper 150 is located at the nearly upper part of the inclined surface 116a of the guide member 116 so as to prevent the over-rotation of the spring. At the time of the completion of the movement of the spring 2 by the chuck 106, the chuck 112 of a carrying device 110 descends and carries out the spring 2 by pinching and holding the outer circumference of the coil 4.
