CONTAINER LOADING DEVICE ON DECK

PURPOSE:To reduce the loading time and improve safety in a container loading device of a vessel by arranging a plurality of rails for transferring containers on a deck and installing a receiving metal piece on the bottom part of the container and a locking means for the receiving metalware on the deck. CONSTITUTION:The stern edge of a high speed vessel 1 is brought in contact with a pier side, the hydraulic pressure supplied from a hydraulic pump 12 is supplied to the lower part of a hydraulic cylinder 9, and a piston rod 13 is extended. Then, a container 6 on the pier side rail is transferred on the rail 4 on the deck 2. When the container 6 at the front edge contacts a vehicle stop 5, a receiving metal piece 16 is externally fitted with a locking member 15. Then, a hydraulic pressure is supplied to the upper part of the hydraulic cylinder 9, and the piston rod 13 is contracted, and a downward hook 4 is fixed with a hook hole on the receiving metalware which is not shown on the figure through fitting. With this constitution, the loading time can be shortened, and safety can be improved.
