TIMER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To input timer time with voice and to improve the ease of use by providing a voice inputting means, voice recognizing means, announcing means, logical arithmetic control means for outputting the signal to control equipment, and prescribed time setting means. CONSTITUTION:An operator first pushes a present time setting key 16 and inputs a present time mode to the logical arithmetic control means 11. The means 11 outputs the attainment of the present time setting mode to the voice recognizing means 8. The means 8 has the voice input signal of the present time. Further, the means 8 reads the data for voice synthesis out of a ROM 9 and announces 'please input time' from a speaker 15 via the voice synthesiz ing means 14. The voice is quantized by a codec IC 7 for telephones via the voice inputting means 6 when the time is inputted by voice. The voice data is then read into the means 8. The recognized present time data is inputted to the means 11 and is displayed on a display section 13. The laboriousness of pushing 'time' and 'minute' keys at every timer setting with the conven tional device is eliminated in this way.
