Zusammenfassung:NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (Am is residue of N-protected amino acid) and its optically active isomer. EXAMPLE:(S)-N-[(S)-3-quinuclidinyl]-alpha-tosylphenylalanylamide. USE:A synthetic intermediate for pharmaceuticals. Useful for the synthetics of optically active 3-aminoquinuclidine which is an intermediate for antiemetic. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting an optically active N-protected amino acid of formula II with racemic 3- aminoquinuclidine. The compound of formula I can be converted to an optically active 3-aminoquinuclidine by hydrolysis after separating a diastereomer.
