FUEL INJECTION AND SUPPLY STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To inject and supply fuel positively under a fuel leakage preventing condition by installing the fuel intake port side of a fuel injection valve in an orthogonal condition to a fuel delivery pipe at positions corresponding to intake pipes for respective cylinders of a fuel delivery pipe piped in the direction of cylinder arrangement of an engine. CONSTITUTION:The intake port of an engine 1 is a swirl port and a fuel injection valve 5 is installed on a fuel delivery pipe 3 orthogonally, so the axial direction of the fuel injection valve 5 is deviated from the swirl port in the center of an intake valve 9, and fuel is not inject-supplied to the swirl port originally. The fuel injection direction from the fuel injection valve 5 is turned to the swirl port direction for respective cylinders with the guide hole 10 of an adapter 8. As a result, fuel is injected and supplied to the center of the intake valve 9 and so on positively even if the fuel injection valve 5 installed on the fuel delivery pipe 3 orthogonally for easy machining and assembly.
