Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To manufacture a light weight and rigid suspension for an automobile by piercing, expanding and forming an aluminum alloy extruded profile shape having a hollow sectional shape. CONSTITUTION:Both end parts of a square tube 1 extruded from aluminum alloy are bent mutually inversely, then, opening parts 2 are pierced on both end parts. Then, the opening parts 2 are expanded by a suitable press apparatus to form connecting holes 3. In this way, automobile suspensions for an upper arm, a lower arm and a lateral rod, etc., composing the link mechanisms for automobile suspensions can be manufactured from light weight, rigid, strong aluminum alloy profile shape without using a forging process.
