Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the number of rails for the travel of a sliverpiecing device by disposing a crane traveling in the direction orthogonal with the longitudinal direction of a roving frame above the roving frame and further disposing a rail for the travel of the sliver-piecing device attaching to the crane. CONSTITUTION:A crane 16 is disposed in a state capable of traveling along crane rails 15 disposed above a plurality of roving frames 1 and a travel rail 19 for the travel of a sliver-piecing device 22 is attached to the cranes 15. The crane travels in the direction orthogonal with the longitudinal directions of the roving frames 1 and the sliver-piecing device travels on the travel rail to the position of a required work.
