INDEPENDENTLY DRIVEN CORRUGATOR IN BAG-MAKING MACHINE OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To avoid complication of the mechanism of a bag-making machine by sharing a function acted as a slowdown device with a corrugator and omitting this slowdown device. CONSTITUTION:Detection of the tip part 10a of a bag 10 is performed by bag- making timing detected by a first detector 46 interlocked with the basic rotation axis 22 of a bag-making machine, namely a detection signal E1 of phase and the velocity detection signal E2 of a second detector 38 for detecting the transfer velocity of a stacker conveyor 6. A controlling device 42 outputs a driving signal E0 to a servomotor 41 by the detection signals E1, E2, a bag width controlling signal E3 and designation information Et for indicating a period delaying the rotating speed of a corrugator 8 and this rotating speed thereof. The servomotor 41 delays the rotating speed at the designated speed for the designated period by this driving signal E0. The bag 10 is flown and transferred at the prescribed flying speed and accumulated as a stacked bag 10'' in the place of a bag arranging device 11. Thereby the need for a slowdown device is eliminated and the title device is simplified.
