AIR CLEANING COMPOSITE FILTER

PURPOSE:To obtain the title filter having a long service life and compactness and furnished with cleaning function, dust collecting function and sterilizing function by filling voids of a porous body fiber product with a cleaning agent in which a metal and reaction products of a polybasic acid and the metal coexist. CONSTITUTION:Voids of a porous body fiber product are filled with a cleaning agent consisting of reaction products of oxypolybasic acid (e.g. citric acid) and one or more kinds of metals selected from Fe, Mn, Cr, Ni, Zn, Al, Cu, Sn, and Co, and the metals which are not reacted. At that time, the molar ratio of the metals to the oxypolybasic acid is adjusted to be (1:0.005)-(1:0.5). As a result, an all-round air cleaning filter having a long service life and compactness and furnished with cleaning function, dust collecting function, and sterilizing function become usable for domestic use and commercial use.
