TV BROADCAST EQUIPMENT AND RECEIVER FOR PLURAL PICTURES

PURPOSE:To send a TV picture signal for plural pictures in compliance with the existing system by compressing equivalently plural picture signals and synthesizing them to obtain one picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A red picture signal obtained by a red (R) image pickup tube, e.g. of a television camera 1A at a sender side is compressed according to a prescribed signal processing at a compression circuit 21 and the picture signal obtained by a blue image pickup tube of a television camera 1B similarly is compressed by a compression circuit 22. The two compressed picture signals are synthesized by a pattern synthesis circuit 31. The picture signals of red (R), blue (B) and green (G) subject to pattern synthesis in this way are processed by a luminance signal chrominance signal generating circuit 4, a synchronizing signal is added and sent via an amplifier circuit 5, a transmitter 6 and an antenna 7. Thus, the plural-picture television broadcast equipment suitable for broadcast of plural picture is realized.
