IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: To form a print with high image quality by fixing a stripping layer including a developed image on a base body at the same time that it is transferred on the base body from an image forming means. CONSTITUTION: The stripping layer 6 is applied to the image forming means by an applicator means 5. Thereafter, a first latent image developed by a first color is received by the layer 6 from an ionograph, that means, an ion radiation recording head 7 and developed by first developer in one of plural developing stations 9a-9d. When the image of two or more kinds of colors is desired, another latent image is formed on the first latent image on the layer 6. Thereafter, the base body 15 is synchronously moved with the perfectly formed image arriving at a pressure pinch formed between a drawing roll 2b and a pressure roll 17. Then, one part or the whole part of the layer 6 including the image is transferred on the base body 15 by adding optional shearing force such as heat or pressure. Thus, the high-quality image is formed.
