AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR ROLLING STOCK

PURPOSE: To increase a cold-air distributing volume by providing a heat- exchanger extended ranging over the whole inner section of an air distributor box in a downstream of an evaporator, and by providing air-outflow ports for side nozzles in bypass channels arranged to extend from a rear space portion in the downstream to a side of the heat-exchanger. CONSTITUTION: This air-conditioning system is provided with a blower 10, an evaporator 11 and a heat-exchanger 12, and the heat-exchanger 12 is disposed to extend ranging over the whole inner section of an air distributor box 13 in a substantially central portion of the box 13 to partition the inside of the box 13 into a rear space portion 15 and a front space portion 14. The system has also two bypass channels 21, 22 extending from the rear space portion 15 to the periphery of the heat-exchanger 12, and ending at an air-guide tubular piece 16 in an upper side of a cold-air scoop flap 20. Temperature control flaps 25, 26 are arranged in communication ports 23, 24 communicated from the respective bypass channels 21, 22 to the air-guide tubular piece 16, and air- outflow ports for side nozzles are provided in the respective bypass channels 21, 22.
