METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING SUPPLY OF MOLTEN METAL IN LADLE

PURPOSE:To enable driving with the pre-stored suitable ladle swinging velocity only by inputting kind of the ladle by automatically setting the optimum ladle swinging velocity, ladle running velocity and these synchronous velocity corresponding to the kinds of plural ladles. CONSTITUTION:The kind of used ladle 12 is designated in ladle kind designating means 50 and ladle swinging range divided with ladle swinging range detecting means 42 arranged to swinging shaft 38 in the ladle 12 is set with a ladle swinging designating means 52 and the swinging velocity to the swinging range of ladle 12 is set to the swinging velocity setting means 54. Then, the ladle swinging velocity corresponding to the preset kind of ladle 12 and the swinging range of ladle 12 is inputted and stored to a control unit 56. After that, the ladle 12 is controlled to be driven at the preset swinging velocity with a driving control part 58, and the prescribed swinging velocity corresponding to the detected signal from the ladle swinging range detecting means 42 inputted to the control unit 56, is calculated and the driving control part 58 can be controlled to the optimum velocity.
