Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To center an extrusion supporting plate in a movable die to an extrusion connecting plate in a movable platen and to facilitate fitting work to the die by mounting the movable die on a die laying block on a shifting base and shifting while retreating the shifting base. CONSTITUTION:The movable die C is conveyed in a die casting machine and laid on the die laying block (a4) on the shifting base (a2). Then, connecting part of extrusion supporting plate (d3) at the movable die C side and the extru sion connecting plate (d4) at the movable platen B side is centered with the die laying block (a4) set in the preset height and at the fitted position. After that, the shifting base (a2) is retreated to retreat-shifting limit of the prescribed stroke with driving mechanism and the movable die C is shifted while approaching the movable platen B side. At this time, the movable die C is fitted parallelly shifting till a die base at both sides of rear abuts on the mov able platen B and till the extrusion supporting plate (d3) is superposely connected with the extrusion connecting plate (d4) by inserting pins 2 into a connecting holes 1 with the shifting base (a2) slid on a fixed base (a1).
