Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To reduce the off-axis interference polarized wave component of radiated circularly polarized-wave radiation by arranging a plurality of L-shaped compensating conductors symmetrically arranged with respect to the major axis of a feed phone at an angle which is defined by a virtual cone having the same vortex as that of a conical phone section. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of L-shaped compensating conductors 22 are composed of metallic wires of copper, tin-copper, etc., plated with silver, etc., for reducing energy loss during operations. The conductors 22 are arranged along a virtual cone having a vortex which is nearly coincide with that of a cone defining the side wall of a phone section 16. The number of the conductors and the lengths of the arms of the L-shape are experimentally selected so that a feed phone 10 does not reach such an arrangement that does not change a remote electromagnetic field when the phone 10 is turned. Therefore, a compensator for antenna feed phone from which the off-axis interference polarized wave component of radiated circularly polarized-wave radiation is reduced when the compensator is excited with circularly polarized-wave energy can be provided. |
