Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a qualitatively balanced microcapsule which shows satisfactory coloring properties and minimized unnecessary color contamination especially when used in a pressure-sensitive copying sheet by enveloping oil droplets containing a specific compound. CONSTITUTION:Oil droplets containing compounds shown in formula [I] and/or formula [II] are enveloped to make the subject microcapsule. In the formulae, R1, R3 and R4 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a phenyl group and may be or may not be the same; R2 in the residual group of monoester of ethylene glycol or the residual group of monoester of polypropylene glycol. These specific compounds are generally used in such a state that they are dissolved in oil droplets of a hydrophobic core substance enveloped by a synthetic resin wall film.
