Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the title medium preventing contamination by mycoplasma and virus because of heat sterilization containing iron gluconate but not transferrin. CONSTITUTION:The objective medium containing iron gluconate (salt of gluconic acid and ferric ion) but not transferrin. The blending ratio of gluconic acid and ferric salt is preferably (5:1)-(1:10). The concentration in a medium is preferably 5-50muM in concentration of ferric salt.
