DISPLAY SYSTEM AT THE TIME OF CORRECTING JAPANESE DOCUMENT READING TRANSLATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make it possible even for a person having no knowledge of Japanese to easily execute correcting work by detecting erroneous recognition from a translated result. CONSTITUTION:A corresponding table forming part 11 forms a corresponding table in which a document obtained after checking an image document and a translated document are set up and displays the table on a display part 7. If an error position exists in the translated document out of the display contents, an instruction is inputted to a correction part 6, the Japanese document corresponding to a document obtained after translating the specified position is extracted while referring a Japanese document/translated document correspondence table 13 and an image document corresponding to the extracted document is checked. At the time of deciding the translated document, the checked document and the corresponding position of the image data, these data are displayed on a display part 7. After the succeeding operation, the candidate character of an error position is formed and displayed by a candidate character forming part 12. When a correct characters selected from the displayed candidates, the erroneously, recognized character is corrected by a correction part 6. Thus, even a person knowning no Japanese can easily execute the correction work of Japanese.
