Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve a processing capacity by executing a command processing at every data transfer, and executing a data transfer processing as to simple I/O at a prescribed period based on a timer signal. CONSTITUTION:A first polling means 1 sequentially polls an input/output device 19 and transfers data to a host device 20 through a transfer means 3. A state means 7 starts a command processing means 6 subsequent to the operation of the transfer means 3 and a storage means 8 stores the machine number of the specified input/output device 19. A second polling means 2 reads the storage means 8 based on a period signal from a generation means 9 and designates the machine number of the specified input/output device 19. Thus, the transfer request of data from the specified input/output device 19 is polled at the prescribed period so as to attain detection.
