GRAIN DRYING FACILITIES

PURPOSE:To set drying temperature to a lower one where no quality deterioration is produced by providing a storage bin for storing received grain, a thermal power dryer for drying the grain to a predetermined water content, and a dry air producer for supplying air of regulated humidity at ordinary temperature in the storage bin. CONSTITUTION:Dry air producers 61 for supplying air of regulated humidity at ordinary temperature are provided for a bin 9, a drier 14, and a sub-silo 19. In the storage bin 9 the producer 61 is connected to a pre-dying fan 57, and air of regulated temperature at ordinary temperature is sucked into each bin chamber 9a, whereby fresh unfulled rice stored in each bin chamber 9a is preliminarily dried such that differences of moisture content among pieces of the rice are reduced. Title facilities are adapted such that the producer 61 is connected to the sub-silo 19 through the fan 75, whereby drying is performed by the air of regulated humidity at ordinary temperature even during storage of the rice in the sub-silo 19. Thus, water in the air is removed without heating the air in the bin chamber 9a, and dry air of regulated humidity is supplied.
