2-IMINOPYRIDINE DERIVATIVE, ITS PREPARATION AND HERBICIDE CONSISTING OF SAID DERIVATIVE

Novel and known 2-iminopyridine derivatives of the general formula (IA) in which R , R , R and R independently of one another are hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy or haloalkoxy, R is cyano, alkylcarbonyl, alkenylcarbonyl, alkynylcarbonyl, haloalkylcarbonyl, haloalkenylcarbonyl, haloalkynylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylthiocarbonyl, in each case optionally substituted phenylcarbonyl or phenoxycarbonyl, or is alkylsulphonyl, optionally substituted phenylsulphonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl or optionally substituted phenylaminocarbonyl, A is alkanediyl and Z is optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted hetaryl, and their use as herbicides, as well as processes for the preparation of the novel 2-iminopyridine derivatives.
