FUNCTION PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To handle a general term function which selects a method with use of plural argument types and decides a method connection form by preparing a method connection correspondence table using plural type identifiers as keys for each general term function. CONSTITUTION:A method connection correspondence table 105 is prepared for each general term function 101, and a key part has a tree structure. Then the type identifiers are spread into branches as follows. That is, the 1st argument type identifiers 106 and 133 are included in a 1st layer of the tree structure together with the 2nd argument type identifiers 107, 131 and 132 included in a 2nd layer when the identifiers 106 and 133 are defined as the 1st arguments respectively. As a result, it is possible to process at a high speed such a general term function that selects a method based on plural argument types and decides a method connection form.
