CENTRIFUGAL GOVERNOR FOR INJECTION INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE: To allow economical production or assembling by rotatably journalling a screw bush which is movably guided into an adjusting member for modifying screwing depth of a connecting screw, and by securing its rotation position with a locking device of spur gear connecting mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal weight 14 of a centrifugal governor adjusts an adjusted member 19 against force of an adjusting spring 16 in relation to rotation speed. A locking tooth 66 of a screw bush 49 engages with a corresponding tooth 71 of a support member 62 receiving pre-load of a drag spring 38 of the adjusted member 19, and a locking device 78 is formed in relation to an adjusting tool 54 connected with the screw bush 49. Rotational motion transmitted to the screw bush 49 by the adjusting tool 54 generates axial motion of a combination pin 18 via an inner screw thread 48, and changes transmission length of the adjusted member 19. An adjustment characteristic is adjusted by changing the transmission length of the adjusted member 19. This adjustment can be performed even after assembling of the governor.
