ELECTROMAGNETIC IMPEDIMENT RESISTING CONDUCTIVE CABLE

PURPOSE:To receive and send signals without noise by dispersing ferrite powder in copper or copper-based alloy. CONSTITUTION:Because of ferrite powder 8 dispersed into base material 7 which is made of copper or copper-based alloy, when noise current instantaneously flows in the base material, ferrite is magnetized so that such magnetic field restrains the noise current automatically. That is, the noise current which flows toward a point 7a in a conductive cable magnetizes the portion near the point 7a of the ferrite powder 8 as shown by an arrow mark B, so that such magnetic field automatically restrains the noise current at the point 7a. Similarly, noise current flowing at another point 7b is also automatically restrained by self-contained magnetic field in a magnetized direction (arrow mark C) of a soft ferrite, and reduced accordingly.
