SHEET CASSETTE

PURPOSE:To smoothly move regulating plates, lock the regulating plates when sheets are fed, and prevent the displacement due to vibration by arranging a lock angle formed with notch sections at various sheets width positions below the regulating plates, and exciting the regulating plates in the holding direction at the above notch sections. CONSTITUTION:Hook sections 11f, 11g are provided at the lower end section of a regulating plate 11, and hooking sections 12f, 12g are provided at the lower end section of a regulating plate 12 respectively. The hooking sections 11g, 12g are hooked and locked by lock sections 19, 20 as shown by arrows D, F respectively. The hooking section 11f is hooked by a size detecting section 23 provided on a side bottom plate 3 as shown by an arrow C, and the hooking section 12f is hooked by a regulating plate detecting section 24. Notch sections 19b are formed from the upper face of a lock angle 19a toward this side face. The notch sections 19b are gradually tapered toward the depth side on the upper face, and the hooking section 11g of the regulating plate 11 is pinched. Multiple notch sections 19b are formed according to widths of various sheets.
