PRINTER TOWER COMPOSED OF AT LEAST TWO SATELLITE TYPE PRINTERS ARRANGED ABOVE AND BELOW

PURPOSE: To protect a following satellite printing station against scumming by an arrangement wherein rubber cylinders can approach each other on a substantially horizontal plane and an anti-scumming unit or a cleaning unit is abutted against a satellite cylinder on a substantially vertical plane extending between rubber cylinders adjacent in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: In a satellite printing station 2, rubber cylinders 6, 7, 10, 12 to be abutted against a satellite cylinder 4 are paired and can approach each other on a plane 31 located substantially in the horizontal direction. A corresponding free space is thereby provided between the rubber cylinders 7, 12 and an anti-scumming unit or a cleaning unit 30 can be applied in that space. The anti-scumming unit or a cleaning unit has a blowing beam for preventing scumming with just printed ink at the Lime of guiding a printing web 22 around the satellite cylinder 4.
