MULTICHANNEL RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify circuit configuration by transmitting a marker signal representing the forefront of information to be recorded to a channel head. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with a multihead 10 for recording consisting of plural channel heads, a marker signal generating part 24 connected to one channel head of the multihead 10 and transmits the marker signal representing the forefront of the information to be recorded to the channel head, and a control part 28 to transmit the marker signal to the marker signal generating part 24 when detecting the arrival of the information at the channel head of the multihead 10. Therefore, since the marker signal is sent to only the channel head corresponding to a specific track in a reproducing device, no filter circuit to distinguish the marker signal is required at another channel head. Thereby, the circuit configuration can be simplified.
