METHOD FOR PRINTING DOCUMENT

PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to repeatedly set up printing conditions and to attain printing only by one printing condition by comparing the contents of two documents at the time of printing the documents and printing out only pages having respectively different contents. CONSTITUTION:When a printing key is inputted from an input device 1, a printing condition setting screen is displayed on a display device 2. A conditional item for printing only pages having contents different from an unupdated document is formed on the printing condition setting screen of the device 2 and whether the printing is the printing of a page specified by a user or the printing of a page different from the unupdated document is discriminated. In the case of the printing of the page specified by the user, the processing is branched to printing processing, and in the case of discriminating the printing of the page different from the unupdated document, the processing is branched to document comparing processing, and after executing the document comparing processing, the printing processing is executed. Since the printing of changed pages generated by document updating is executed by utilizing the part several printing condition setting, the specification of a printing page range can be made unnecessary.
