BROAD AREA PAGING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce facility expenses and maintenance expenses by providing a paging terminal station device at a central station, performing the call of a pager slave machine, and instructing re-transmission to a slave station with the signal of the call. CONSTITUTION:A number to call the pager slave machine 5 in a divided area is dialed from a telephone set 7. At this time, a paging terminal station 1 fetches the number, and converts it to a paging number to perform a radio call. The central station 2 accepts the slave machine 5 from a telephone exchange 6 with the terminal station 1, and converts it to a signal format suitable for a system. The signal is delivered from radio transmission equipment as an amplitude or phase modulation signal, and a peripheral slave station is provided with a memory device 23 to store the signal from the central station 2 and a receiver RX22. Since a transmitter is started up according to a timing decided in advance and the paging signal of the memory device 23 is transmitted, the facility expenses and the maintenance expenses can be reduced.
