Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To produce superior edge and interimage effects by using a specified DIR coupler in a color photographic silver halide material. CONSTITUTION: This color photographic recording material has at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and contains a DIR coupler represented by formula I, wherein A is halogen, -OR etc., R is alkyl, aralkyl, etc., each of D and E is a substituent bonding to the C atom of the group C=N through C, O, S or N or may be a substituent completing a carboxylicor or heterocyclic ring in combination with the C atom of the group C=N, D and E may be different from each other and Y is a group having function to inhibit silver halide development and releasable during color development. Superior edge and interimage effects are produced.
