TWO-DIMENSIONAL MEASURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To simultaneously measure the distance from the central point of each of elbows and angle valves of different diameters to an end face by making a centering cone slide while maintaining the center constant in combination of two squares. CONSTITUTION:A centering cone 2 is mounted to each of squares A, B by a guide bolt 3. The squares A, B intersect at right angles to each other via a hollow slide plate 4. This two dimensional measure is constituted in this manner. The centering cone 2 in the direction of an X axis is slid to be in tight contact with a bore, so that the square A is brought in tight contact with an end face. Likewise, the centering cone in the direction of a Y axis is slid. Then, a scale where the squares A, B intersect in the slide plate 4 is read. Accordingly, the distance from the central point to the end face can be directly known simultaneously in two directions.
