Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prepare the subject hardened product capable of being utilized for highly strong building materials such as boards in simple processes in a short time by adding finely ground waste paper and water to a mixture of coal ash and alpha type gypsum hemihydrate in a specific ratio and subsequently press-molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. of a mixture of 20-80 pts.wt. of coal ash and 80-20 pts.wt. of alpha type gypsum hemihydrate is mixed with 0.5-20 pts.wt. of finely ground waste paper and 80-150 pts.wt. of water, followed by kneading the mixture at the ordinary temperature under the ordinary atmosphere and press- molded the kneaded product at the ordinary temperature. Or 100 pts.wt. of a mixture of 20-80 pts.wt. of the coal ash and 80-20 pts.wt. of gypsum dihydrate is mixed with 40-80 pts.wt. of water and 0.05-2 pts.wt. of a crystal medium and heated and kneaded under an increased pressure to convert the gypsum dihydrate into the alpha type gypsum hemihydrate. The product is mixed with 0.5-20 pts.wt. of finely ground waste paper and 20-50 pts.wt. of water and press- molded at the ordinary temperature.
