MANUFACTURE OF ENDLESS BELT

PURPOSE:To prevent defective power transmission and a slipping phenomenon due to etrapment of air, by a method wherein the title method stretches the title endless belt unidirectionally by making use of a plurality of rolls and uses the roll where unevenness processing is performed on the surface. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing of an endless belt stretched unidirectionally by making use of a plurality of rolls, the rolls where unevenness processing is performed on the surface are used. Although a material for the endless belt is not limited especially, it is preferable to make polyimide the material from view points of mechanical strength and heat resistance. The polyimide like this is synthesized from polyimide acid to be obtained by performing almost isomol reaction, for example, of an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (or its derivative) and aromatic diamine in an organic polar solvent. With this construction, simultaneously with stretching processing of the endless belt unevenness processing on the inside of the same can be performed. Therefore, incapability of power transmission and slipping phenomenon due to entrapment of air between the roll and the inside of the belt can be prevented.
