Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To miniaturize a camera system by making a photographic image plane A by a photographing system in the case of a variable power range A smaller than a photographing image plane B by a photographing system in the case of a variable power range B when a mirror is attached in a photographic optical path so as to observe the image of an object by using an observation system A. CONSTITUTION:The photographing system 101 is constituted of a zoom lens, and the focal distance of the lens constitutes the photographing system B of one short focal distance (wide angle end) in the variable power range B and also constitutes the photographing system A of one long focal distance (telephoto end) in the variable power range A. The mirror 5 retreats to the outside of the photographic optical path in the specified variable power range B on the wide angle side of the photographing system 101. At such a time, the image of the object is observed by using the observation system B. In the specified range A on the telephoto side of the photographing system 101, the photographic image plane A by the photographing system 101 in the case of the variable power range A is made small than the photographing image screen B by the photographing system 101 in the case of the variable power range B when the mirror 5 is attached in the photographing optical path of the mirror 5 to observe the image of the object by using the observation system A. Thus, the camera system is miniaturized.
