CORD CONTACTING DEVICE FOR CONTACT TERMINAL POLE IN COAXIAL PLUG

PURPOSE:To enable connection with no need for alignment in position and axial center for pushing a plug in by projecting contacts to be assembled at the rear end section of a plug into a circular crater, and thereby engaging the aforesaid circular crater with the outer circumference of an engaging cylinder provided for the rear end side of the plug. CONSTITUTION:Each terminal piece (e) of core wires (f) is inserted into the rear end section of a contact (d) held by a contact holding member (c) so as to be connected. In the second place, the front end side of the contact (d) is projected into a circular crater 81 which is off set to the axial center line while a metallic ring (h) is coupled in the crater 61 so that the contact (d) is pressed onto the circumferential surface of the crater with pressure. In addition, a metallic engaging cylinder 20a coaxial with the axial center line is interposed in the inner circumferential surface of the ring (h), and the other side surface of the contact (d) is pressed onto the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder 20a with pressure so as to be held with pressure between the cylinder 20a and the ring (h) so that the contact (d) is connected with No.2 connecting terminal pole 2 of a plug main body 9 so as to be conductive. By this constitution, connection can thereby be made with no need for alignment in position and axial center for pushing a plug in.
