REPRESENTATIVE NUMBER CONTROL SYSTEM IN MULTI-POINT CONFERENCE CONNECTION

PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a line port of a center node by applying control such as provision of a representative number, registration and erasure dynamically for each sponsored conference with respect to a multi- point conference unit of the center node to which a terminal equipment is going to be connected. CONSTITUTION:When a request of desiring the start of a conference from a time T at three points of terminal equipments A, B and C is inputted to a conference reservation system, a representative number control means 103 selects three ports provided to a center node, gives one representative number and registers sets of each line number of the 3 ports corresponding to the representative number to a representative number database 105. The terminal equipments A, B, C call the representative number to an exchange 104 at a conference start time T. The exchange 104 discriminates the information of the representative number database 105 as ports of line numbers 1, 2, 3 of the center node, calls the center node to apply connection control.
