WIRE GRIP

PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency by putting length measuring marks on the wire, which is connected to a distribution line and locks it with proper length, of a power distribution wire grip. CONSTITUTION:A wire grip 1 has an insulating belt wire 2, a take-up drum 3, and a wire holder 4 fixed to the end of the wire 2. The take-up drum 3 is housed in a case 5 equipped with a means 6 for fixation to the temporary arm 21 of a pole 22. Length measuring marks 7 are put on the wire 2 at equal distances starting from the wire holder 4. The temporary arm 21 is fixed under the existing arm 23 of the pole 22 and equipped with the wire grip 1. The manipulator of a robot is made to hold the wire holder 4, the wire 2 is drawn, and the wire holder 4 is fixed at the specified position on a distribution line W with the marks 7 used as a guide.
