OPTICAL REMOTE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To attain the use of a controller outdoor, to support the controller and to send an infrared ray signal over a long time by adding a holder section to a conventional device. CONSTITUTION:When a controller 1 exists at the outside, an infrared ray signal generated from the controller 1 strikes on the dust-proof cover 8, an infrared ray reflecting medium 9 stuck to the inside of the dust-proof cover 8 reflects the light and the light is reflected in the same reflecting medium 9 stuck to the inside of a holder 7 and led up to the part of an red optical filter 5. Thus, an external disturbance light 6 such as the sun light is shut by the dust-proof cover 8 to avoid the disturbance of the signal transmission. Moreover, when the controller 1 is contained in the holder 7, the external disturbance light 6 is not led up to a photodetector 4 in terms of structure and the photodetector is not susceptible to the effect of the external disturbance light. Simultaneously, a light emitting element and a photodetection element are supported in the holder 7 in an opposite shape. Thus, the remote controller able to be used for a device used outdoor is obtained.
