ANTI-SKID BRAKING METHOD

PURPOSE:To suppress vibration of a brake pedal by furnishing a control mode, in which the piston position of a pressure adjuster is moved intermittently toward the pause position during the period till generation of lock tendency on the applicable wheel when the braking pressure reducing control is applied. CONSTITUTION:In an anti-skid brake device concerned, a pressure adjuster 7 is interposed on a brake line 3 leading from a tandem master cylinder to a rear-wheel side brake cylinder. This pressure adjuster 7 opens No.1 pressure chamber 10 to the atmosphere when lock tendency is generated on the applicable wheel, and thereby moves a piston 9 downward against the action of a spring 12 with the aid of neg. pressure in No.2 pressure chamber 11, and is located at the brake circuit breaking position to block a valve hole 20 with a valve element 16. Thus the brake pressure is reduced. Further the pressure adjuster 7 controls so that the piston 9 is moved intermittently toward the pause position under the period from elimination of lock tendency by the braking pressure reducing control till recurrence of lock tendency on the wheel.
